Design Statment

The Kwun Tong Tsai Wan is used to be a factory district. Due to changing times, the fellow site-building turned to be pro-industry nowadays. The brownfield has only two buildings still operating. The site area is missing link with the society and the urban planning. The project aims to bring the open space back into the urban and social reconnection of the surrounding environment. Via the regeneration strategy, the design process contemplated the core value like ecosystem and history background. It will rebuild the ecological environment near the industry area. Also, the design concept will be tackled by the industry history and core value.
